CHILLICOTHE - Logan Elm couldn't find their stroke from the line,
shooting four of 17 for the game in a 45-39 loss at Unioto Tuesday.
"We were 0-6 from the line in the third and 1-5 in the fourth," LE coach
Donna Peters said. "That is a big difference.
"The majority of our game depends on how well we finish at the free
throw line."
Unioto (6-1) on the other hand shot 8 of 9 from the charity stripe in
the fourth quarter as they outscored the Lady Braves (3-4) 17-7 over the
final stanza.
"Our kids came out and played hard, but we were silent in the fourth,"
Peters said. "The other day against Bloom we were silent in the third,
and tonight we were silent down the stretch.
"We just can't go through periods like that."
Andera Anderson lead LE with 16 points with Katie Hupp adding eight.
